Leigh Christy  FAIA, LEED AP BD+C

Leigh joined our Los Angeles studio in 2004, where she leads public- and private-sector projects at a variety of scales, offering her a perspective on projects and the profession that is both comprehensive and forward-looking. Working at the interface of architecture and urban design helps her projects benefit building occupants as well as their communities and ecosystems. Leigh believes an architect’s influence doesn’t stop at the property line; for us to lay a better foundation for the future, we must learn from our projects, expose opportunities for innovation and research, and share the knowledge we gain. She was an adjunct faculty member at Woodbury University from 2008 – 2014 and continues to sit on multi-disciplinary design juries throughout California. Using both research and project work as a basis, Leigh frequently publishes articles and presents on issues dealing with social and environmental sustainability at all scales. She sits on our Research Board, and co-created and leads the firm’s Innovation Incubator program, which has supported more than 200 staff-generated research ideas through internal micro-grants. Leigh works with her clients and colleagues to reach beyond what seems achievable.
